SWANS DYING IN SNOQUALMIE VALLEY

During one of our regular swan surveys  south of Monroe WA, Martha Jordan discovered several dead and sick swans at Crescent Lake in mid-March.

Over the next 14 days NWSCA in cooperation with WDFW led an effort to retrieve the sick and dead swans and tally the feather piles of swans that died and were eaten by predators.
